Going to change things up here a bit. Click on the Drones page or the thumbnail on the right to head over to drones.epigamics.com, where I’ll be posting a new page every day. The site is still under construction so expect it to get a lot shinier as the month progresses. Or not. The main thing is that the pages will keep coming. Hope you enjoy!
Quick update: I’m off to Thought Bubble this weekend to introduce some new people to DRONES! No table, but I’ll be wandering like a maniac. I also just received this amazing pinup in the mail from Silvio DB, with colors by our very own Cabral. Just something to get you in the mood for issue three. E.T. Dollman is hard at work on the lettering, and we should be good for a digital release in the next two weeks. In other news, Bruno just got back after a whirlwind tour of the New York Comic Con and his old San Fran haunts. Whatever geek flu he got at the convention is gone and he’s working on the layouts to issue four as we speak. Can’t wait to see the new tricks he’s learned.
New interview up at Ain’t It Cool News!
I had a blast talking to The Dean, and I really enjoy how he refers to himself as an @$$hole. I need a better nickname…
Quick note about the upcoming schedule. Drones #2 is scheduled for digital release in the next week or so. Cabral is working on the colors for Drones #3 as we speak, and once he’s done I’ll get that up for digital distribution as well. We’re going to go with the same platforms as issue one (iTunes and Graphicly), as well as DriveThru Comics, which I’m really excited about. More to come!!
Still digesting the amazing experience I had at Baltimore. Thanks so much to all of you who stopped by, chatted, parted with hard-earned money, and blew kisses as you walked away (this never actually happened). I appreciate all the support I received and am more determined than ever to repay your kindness with nice things to read. Here are a few of the costumed folk who made the weekend such a blast.
My monitor crashed so I haven’t been able to keep up with posting the new pages. If you want to see the book, please come to Baltimore on September 8th or 9th, go to the convention center, pay your monies, and visit me at table A5. See you there!
